Advent Trip with the Steyrtal vintage train

Are you ready to embark on a nostalgic journey aboard an oldtimer train, where you'll be treated to charming views of the historic Steyr Valley winter landscape? Join us for an enjoyable day out in Steyr and make new friends from Austria and around the world!


What to expect:
Regardless of the weather, the Steyrtal Railway is an enjoyable journey for all ages. The 60-minute journey along the riverbank is relaxing and entertaining. Arriving in Steinbach/Steyr, we'll explore the picturesque village and enjoy traditional local food and hot drinks. Afterwards, we'll take the vintage train back to Steyr, where we'll soak up the festive atmosphere, share cookies and sing your favourite Christmas carols on the train.

• Steyr Bahnhof at 12:45 
• Museumsbahn Steyrtal (Redtenbachergasse 14, 4400 Steyr) at 13:00

(If you come by car, there are parking slots near the Museumbahn Steyrtal )

Vintage train departure from Steyr: 13:30
Vintage train return trip to Steyr: 16:30, arrival in Steyr approx. 17:30

Kids (o-14 years) free


Registration deadline:
To ensure we have enough seats on the vintage train and plenty of cookies for everyone, please register by 27 November.

Cancelation conditions: Registered persons can cancel their registration until 27.11.2023 at the latest via email to info@welcome2upperaustria.com If registered persons fail to cancel until the above-mentioned deadline we are obliged to charge the full price.

What to bring:
Bring your enthusiasm, curiosity and a well-tuned voice to sing the first carols of the year. Feel free to invite friends, colleagues or anyone else who might be interested. The more the merrier!
