Steyr Automotive is a company in upper Austria, in the heart of Europe. We stand for highest production competence, modern infrastructure and, above all, highly qualified employees. Quality awareness, innovative spirit and teamwork are our philosophy.

The openness to technology for sustainable propulsion concepts in combination with more than one hundred years of experience in the development and production of commercial vehicles build the basis for our expertise in vehicle construction.

We are building intensively on our GreenTech plant. Both with our products, in which we rely on alternative drives, and with processes and technologies, we are thinking sustainably and for the long term.

With the construction of one of the largest roof-mounted photovoltaic systems in Austria, which will cover up to 25% of our own electricity requirements in the future, we are setting a milestone on our path to CO2 neutrality.

With flexible production capacities that can be ramped up quickly, we are a partner for our customers within the framework of Contract Manufacturing. In this business area of industrial contract manufacturing, we set new standards in Europe. Our current main customers are MAN Truck & Bus, Volta Trucks and Palfinger.

Furthermore, we operate one of the largest paint shops for truck plastic add-on parts in Europe.

Research & Development is an integral part of Steyr Automotive, we are a full-service provider from concept to series production and research topics of sustainable, alternative drive forms, materials, components and processes.
